What is the Mindseed Parent Toddler Program?
Parent Toddler program is a program designed to facilitate a structured quality time between the child and his/her mother or father in a preschool setup.
Who is this program for?
Age criteria(child) : 8 Months – 18 Months
Why is this program important?
Scientific research proves that 90% of the brain development happens before the age of 2. Hence this is the right time where the parents should invest their time to expose the child to a setup that is engaging for the child. Other benefits of the program are- It helps the child prepare for the Preschool phase
- It helps children to discover and learn new things together
Why Mindseed Parent Toddler Program?
At Mindseed we work on developing the foundational skills of these toddlers i.e. skills like social skills , interpersonal skills, linguistic skills, imaginative and thinking skills along with their fine motor and gross motor skills hence building independence in a child.
We believe that each child grows and develops at his or her own pace, hence the curriculum is beautifully curated to suit every child’s personal needs in the growth process.

What are some milestones that the child can expect to reach?
Foundation Skill - Milestone 8-12 Months
Language
- Will respond to his/ her own name when called
- Will be curious when rhymes and music is sung or played and try to blabber
- Will point at objects he or she desires to have
- Will understand the word “ no”
Social / Interpersonal
- Will make gestures to communicate what he/ she wants
- Will copy movements and sounds
- Will react to new smell and taste
Fine Motor
- Will reach out and grab objects
- Will be able to pick up small objects with thumb and index finger
- Will be able to hold 2 objects and bang them with each other
Gross Motor
- Will be able to move obstacles to reach to his/her desired object
- May crawl to an object
Foundation Skill - Milestone 13 -18 Months
Language
- Will recognise his/ her own name on the name tag
- Will try to blabber and hum rhymes and songs
- Will observe large pictures in a story book ( for a short span)
- Will be able to communicate what he/she wants with gestures and several one words
- Will follow 1 step commands without gestures
- Will point out body parts
- Will recognise everyday objects
Social / Interpersonal
- Will make gestures/ blabber / talk in 1 word to communicate what he/ she wants
- Will observe what others are doing
- Will pretend to feed toy animals
- Will try to eat finger food by himself/herself
Fine Motor
